Trick or Treat!!!

Ready to go Trick or Treating!

Madelin walked for about 10 houses and then once it got dark, it was safer to carry her...plus, she took soooooooo long =) Both girls were very polite and said "Thank you" at every house. Madelin kept saying it over and over...it was quite funny.

Michaela didn't like carrying her bag...it was too heavy.

After we did our street, we drove over to Mommom and Pappy's and did a few houses there. Thanks Mom and Dad for their EXTRA Halloween gifts.

Trick or Treating was finished up in time for all of us to watch the Phillies game, but before that, Pappy took time to read Madelin a book, while MJ and Mommom were putting together MJ's new puzzle!

We had a GREAT time!! And really hope the Phillies WIN tonight!!

BVBC Fall Festival Party

Mommom helping Natalie stuff a Scarecrow at BVBC's Fall Festival Party last night. Nemo in the background is Ben, Natalie's brother, and Madelin is the Cow to the left. We had such a GREAT time making our own Scarecrow!! We can't wait to make one next year.

Michaela being silly, wearing the Scarecrow's hat!

Madelin got tired of being a Cow, so when MJ took her tiara off to put on the Scarecrow hat, Madelin grabbed the tiara to be "Re-ra" for a minute. ("Re-ra" is how Madelin says Cinderella)

Pappy and Matt holding up our finished Scarecrow! We LOVE him and think he looks great on our front steps!

MJ's Halloween Parade at Pre-school

Today, Michaela's pre-school had a Halloween parade. Michaela wore her Cinderella tiara, dress, and shoes. She looked magnificent in the light blue outfit! She waved the ENTIRE time and lit up when she found Madelin and me in the crowd. I was the only parent that yelled out...I said "Michaela, Hey there pretty girl." I got a few looks, but oh well, that is who I am and Michaela LOVED it!! When it comes to my children, nothing I do for them embarrasses me!

After the parade, each class posed for a group shot, as seen in the first picture. Her teacher, Mrs. Norris, was a Dentist (hence the face mask) and the assistant teacher, Mrs. McDonald wore Butterfly wings. Michaela had a GREAT time at school today and I am SO glad that I stayed for the parade to see her.

Our Date Day

On Sunday, Mom and Dad took the girls to the Renaissance Faire to see Uncle Matthew. So, we took FULL ADVANTAGE of our kid-free day and planned a date-day in Philadelphia!!! Matt and I had SUCH a great time and the weather was simply GORGEOUS!! We walked along the water, enjoyed some fun at Dave and Busters, walked and shopped South Street, enjoyed a Philly Cheese steak at Jim's, and finished the day off at Ikea browsing and shopping a bit!! Then we headed back home and cuddled on the couch to watch, "The Proposal."

Our time together was filled with Fun, laughter, and love!!

(Thanks Mom and Dad...you guys are SUPER!!)

Michaela's First Field Trip!!

This past Wednesday, Michaela went on her first field trip. Her preschool went to Ramsey Farm. She was SO excited about this and the fact that Pappy was taking off of work to go with her. The picture above is of Michaela and Natalie standing in line at school waiting to leave.

They went on a Hay ride.

Went through a Corn Maze.

Michaela, you are such a CUTIE PIE!!

Michaela's class working through the maze!

Michaela and Pappy with their pumpkins!!

The two of them came home with MANY stories about their special time together. After the field trip, Pappy took MJ out to lunch and then shopping. I am SO glad that they had a blast. Sorry, Dad for dressing MJ in layers...I know it made ALL the bathroom breaks a lot more difficult, but at least she was warm and prepared =) MJ is so blessed to have YOU as her PAPPY!! Thanks for being a great PAPPY and DAD! We love you!

(Note: THANKS Grandma Pat for Michaela's coat!!! She LOVES it and takes it to pre-school every time she goes.)
